Wow! What a great time we had at Regional’s.

2011 Southwestern Regional’s, Colorado Springs, Colorado October 13-19, 2010

Wow! What a great time we had at Regional’s, we hope everyone had fun and skated well.  We saw lots of our friends from out of state; Ken, Cheri and Tawney stopped by and kept us up to date on all the fun going on in the NHL and Olympic rinks.  Nice Jacket Tawney!  Skater’s Choice was proud to be the supplier for the Desert Ice Figure Skating Clubs jackets!  We displayed our new Christmas ornaments and gifts as well as we had all the decals on display.  Alexe Gilles stopped by to say hello, always nice to see her and to watch her skate, Good Luck Alexe!  George from SP Teri was also in town for Regional’s and checked the fit on Emma’s boots and looked them over, Thanks George, it is always great to see you!  We look forward to seeing everyone again, our next competition is The Aspen Invitational, December 4, 2010 in Aspen, Colorado hope to see some of your there.

Skater's Choice with Rachael Flatt

Colorado Springs Invitational

September 16-19, 2010

Thank you to Centennial Skating Club for inviting us back again this year.  We had a wonderful time as usual and hope that everyone skated well.  There was a ton of excitement as this was also the qualifying competition for the 2011 State Games of America.  Congratulations to all who qualified we hope you had fun!  We were also very excited to see Rachael Flatt again.  After she skated she stopped by to chat with us, good luck to Rachael who will be performing at Disson Skating's Improv on Ice, with the iconic rock band FOREIGNER, live, on Saturday September 25, 2010 in Loveland, Colo., along with seven Olympic, World and National (U.S. and Canada) Champions.  Then she is off to Nagoya, Japan to skate at at NHK Trophy, Oct. 22-24, 2010.

and to (pictured L) Dawn Ristow for all your help after Emma’s fall on the ice.  We had our first visit to The Vail Valley Medical Center.

It was great to be up there and enjoy some cooler temperatures; we hope that everyone enjoyed some time up there at that all the skater’s enjoyed the competition.

Thank you to everyone in the Mile High Figure Skating Association for having us back again this year.  What an exciting competition this year, we got to see so many wonderful skater’s from all over!  Alissa Czisny , Rachael Flatt and Alexe Gilles just to name a few.  Also in this competition was the 30^th Anniversary of Colorado Championships competition.  Alissa Cziny stopped and talked skating with Emma and said hello to us as well.  We hope that the competition was as much fun for all involved as it was for us.
