Large Hail Storm In Littleton Colorado

This is the ditch in front of my house last night when the Tornado sirens were going off. This is the ditch this morning and this is the hail stone that damaged my van! Wow!

Santa Fe here we come again!

I would like to thank Dale Kellogg and the Santa Fe Skating Club for inviting us back this year to the 2012 Santa Fe Skatefest & Funfest, May 18-20, 2012, to be held at the Genoveva Chavez Community Center (GCCC), located at 3221 Rodeo Road, Santa Fe, N.M. 87508. 505-955-4000.

We are looking forward to seeing all our customers from Santa Fe, Albuquerque and the surrounding areas that maybe we haven’t seen yet this year.  We will be bringing the “New” Zuca Summer collection with us too. If you would like to pre-order any items please feel free to send us an e mail and we will have your purchase waiting for you at the rink when you arrive.

For some of us that may be visiting from another state, I just watched on Food Network’s show Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives hosted by Guy Fieri, a restaurant featured in Santa Fe called Backroad Pizza, www.backroadpizza.com. Yumm! I may have to check it out while I am down there, and it anyone else has any suggestions please feel free to let us know and I will be happy to post them on the blog too!

2011 Colorado Springs Invitational!

It’s time again to hit the road, we are headed to Colorado Springs for the 2011 Colorado Springs Invitational!

Hosted by the Centennial Skating Club and held at the Sertich Ice Center,
Memorial Park, 1705 Pikes Peak Ave., Colorado Springs, CO 80909,

We will set up on Wednesday, September 14, 2011 in the afternoon so we will be there for practice ice.  We look forward to seeing everyone at the competition and would like to “Thank” Lisa Landon and the Centennial Skating Club for inviting us back this year.

Vail: Competition to start tomorrow!

We arrived in vail around noon on Wednesday the temp was 70 degrees with blue skies!  We had a great day setting up and seeing all the wonderful friendly faces from Vail!  We celebrated Mom's birthday with Dawn Ristow and her husband Steven at Billy's Island Grill!  Can't wait for competition to start tomorrow!

Thank you to everyone in the Mile High Figure Skating Association for having us back again this year.  What an exciting competition this year, we got to see so many wonderful skater’s from all over!  Alissa Czisny , Rachael Flatt and Alexe Gilles just to name a few.  Also in this competition was the 30^th Anniversary of Colorado Championships competition.  Alissa Cziny stopped and talked skating with Emma and said hello to us as well.  We hope that the competition was as much fun for all involved as it was for us.
