Vail Invitational has come to a close!

Another great year at the Dobson Ice Arena for the 2011 Vail Invitational and Mountain Fun competition.  We had such a good time we came up on Wednesday for their test session and it was Mom’s aka Sally’s birthday!  We celebrated her birthday with Dawn Ristow and her husband Steven at Billy’s Island Grill in Lionshead.

I want to thank everyone with the Skating Club of Vail for the invitation to the competition and for treating us so well.  It is always a pleasure to come up and be part of this wonderful competition.

We saw some of our customers we haven’t seen in a while and met some new skaters and parents too!  Congratulations to all of the skater’s, we hope you enjoyed Vail and had a great time.

We will be closing the showroom from July 20-27, 2011 and then next up for us will be Colorado Championships August 4-6, 2011 at Apex Center, 13150 W. 72^nd Ave. Arvada, Colorado 80005, 303-424-2739.

Vail Invitational 2010 - The Vail Skating Club

Thank you to The Skating Club of Vail for inviting us back for another wonderful year.  Thank you to the ice arena for always accommodating us and to all The Skating Club of Vail members for taking such great care of us while we are there.  This year I have to say a special “thank you” to coach

and to (pictured L) Dawn Ristow for all your help after Emma’s fall on the ice.  We had our first visit to The Vail Valley Medical Center.

It was great to be up there and enjoy some cooler temperatures; we hope that everyone enjoyed some time up there at that all the skater’s enjoyed the competition.
