We are here!  In Fort Collins!!!!

Skater’s Choice is at the Fort Collins Classic, we are set up and glad to see everyone!  We will be here thru Sunday and have on hand lots of dress’s, soakers, hair bling and gift items.  Not to mention all the fun things Maureen with Go Figure Skating has to offer.  Thanks again for Maureen inviting Skater’s Choice to be here.  We have seen customers from Albuquerque, Boise, Vail, Colorado Springs and not to mention Denver and Ft. Collins.  We wish everyone well, have fun and Good Luck!

Skater’s Choice to be at the Fort Collins Classic!

Skater’s Choice has been asked by her good friend and fellow business owner Maureen Brotherton with Go Figure Skating to join her at the Fort Collins Classic 2011, April 1 – 3, 2011. Held at the EPIC Ice Center, 1801 Riverside Avenue, Fort Collins, CO 80525. 

This will be the 3^rd year for Skater’s Choice to be at the Fort Collins Classic with Maureen, I always have a great time sharing business ideas and inspiring each other.  We look forward to seeing everyone there and we hope that everyone has a great time at the competition.

If you would like to pre-order any items please feel free to let me know and I will have it ready for you at the competition.

Pueblo was a Blast!

We are back from the Mid Winter Invitational, Pueblo, Colorado where we had a wonderful time and got to see many familiar faces and meet some new ones too!  I would like to thank the Pueblo Figure Skating Club, Harvey and his staff at the Pueblo Ice Arena for always treating us so well when we come to town. 

Braider Deb and Local Motion were there as well, always great to see them too.  I hope that all the kids had a great time kicking off the season for some with their new programs.  We look forward to seeing everyone again next year in Pueblo.

We are preparing for Denver Invitational next, March 10-13 2011, at South Suburban Ice Arena.  Hope to see everyone there!

A New Year!

Happy New Year!

I want to first start off by saying “Thank You” to all of our customers and friends, it has been a wonderful year of growth for Skater’s Choice.  Since meeting our wonderful webmaster (check out his site, digpicphoto.com) in April of last year, who shared a lot of fantastic idea’s, support, direction, pushing (occasionally having to shove) Skater’s Choice was happy to launch the web site this past October!

We are still in development and things are continually changing, I did not realize how many products we really do carry, because I usually just think about what is going to fit in the van when we go to a show!  I encourage you to look at the site, pardon our dust and know that we are adding more products and images all the time!

In looking at the upcoming year, I am happy to inform you that we have already been invited to the following competitions for this year, Denver Invitational March 10-13 and to Ft. Collins Classic March 31 – April 3.  We will keep you posted as to our show schedule, we can’t wait to see everyone.

As we start a New Year full of excitement and dreams I have to share a special event that I was invited to.

For most of the skater’s in Colorado, if you have competed you most likely have had your event photo taken by someone with Local Motion. Deb, Mitchell, Melaina and Brittney have probably chatted with you at some competition.

Since starting Skater’s Choice in 2004 I have had the pleasure of getting to know the Shipwash Family.  For those of you that don’t know them or know about Melaina, she is currently Miss Colorado, a huge honor in it’s self.  However Melaina is leaving January 6th, 2011, to compete in the Miss America Pageant!

Melaina and family invited me to Melaina’s send off party, held January 2, 2011.  My daughter Molly and I went to show our support and to cheer her on. 

Good luck Melaina, you are already a winner in our eyes!
