Ft. Collins here we come!

We are headed to Ft. Collins today for the Fort Collins Classic 2013.
April 5-7, 2013.
Being held at the Edora Pool Ice Center (EPIC)
1801 Riverside Ave., Fort Collins, Colorado 80525.  

If you are going to be there please stop by and see what we have “New”. There are new sweatshirts, new dresses, new gift items and some new jewelry.

If you placed your order with us already we will have it waiting for you when you get there!

Next week on Saturday April 13, we will be at Funtastics at the Apex Ice Arena in Arvada.

It’s time for Fort Collins Classic 2012, March 30 – April 1, 2012

Skater’s Choice is happy to announce another invitation from Maureen Brotherton of Go Figure Skating in Fort Collins to attend the Fort Collins Classic this year.  This will be the fourth year of inspiring each other! Held at the EPIC Ice Center, 1801 Riverside Avenue, Fort Collins, CO 80525.

It is always a pleasure to share time brainstorming new ideas and inspiring each other to keep striving for excellence in skating products new and old.  We look forward to seeing everyone there are looking forward to serving all your skating needs.  We will be setting up on the evening of March 29 for practice ice.

Good luck to all the competitors we will see you soon!  As always please let us know if there is anything you will need us to have ready for you!

We are here!  In Fort Collins!!!!

Skater’s Choice is at the Fort Collins Classic, we are set up and glad to see everyone!  We will be here thru Sunday and have on hand lots of dress’s, soakers, hair bling and gift items.  Not to mention all the fun things Maureen with Go Figure Skating has to offer.  Thanks again for Maureen inviting Skater’s Choice to be here.  We have seen customers from Albuquerque, Boise, Vail, Colorado Springs and not to mention Denver and Ft. Skater’s Choice to be at the Fort Collins Classic!

Skater’s Choice has been asked by her good friend and fellow business owner Maureen Brotherton with Go Figure Skating to join her at the Fort Collins Classic 2011, April 1 – 3, 2011. Held at the EPIC Ice Center, 1801 Riverside Avenue, Fort Collins, CO 80525. 

This will be the 3^rd year for Skater’s Choice to be at the Fort Collins Classic with Maureen, I always have a great time sharing business ideas and inspiring each other.  We look forward to seeing everyone there and we hope that everyone has a great time at the competition.

If you would like to pre-order any items please feel free to let me know and I will have it ready for you at the competition.

A New Year!

Happy New Year!

I want to first start off by saying “Thank You” to all of our customers and friends, it has been a wonderful year of growth for Skater’s Choice.  Since meeting our wonderful webmaster (check out his site, digpicphoto.com) in April of last year, who shared a lot of fantastic idea’s, support, direction, pushing (occasionally having to shove) Skater’s Choice was happy to launch the web site this past October!

We are still in development and things are continually changing, I did not realize how many products we really do carry, because I usually just think about what is going to fit in the van when we go to a show!  I encourage you to look at the site, pardon our dust and know that we are adding more products and images all the time!

In looking at the upcoming year, I am happy to inform you that we have already been invited to the following competitions for this year, Denver Invitational March 10-13 and to Ft. Collins Classic March 31 – April 3.  We will keep you posted as to our show schedule, we can’t wait to see everyone.

As we start a New Year full of excitement and dreams I have to share a special event that I was invited to.

For most of the skater’s in Colorado, if you have competed you most likely have had your event photo taken by someone with Local Motion. Deb, Mitchell, Melaina and Brittney have probably chatted with you at some competition.

Since starting Skater’s Choice in 2004 I have had the pleasure of getting to know the Shipwash Family.  For those of you that don’t know them or know about Melaina, she is currently Miss Colorado, a huge honor in it’s self.  However Melaina is leaving January 6th, 2011, to compete in the Miss America Pageant!

Melaina and family invited me to Melaina’s send off party, held January 2, 2011.  My daughter Molly and I went to show our support and to cheer her on. 

Good luck Melaina, you are already a winner in our eyes!
