Jennifer is a 2011 Fall semester
graduate from the University of Colorado, Boulder.
She earned an bachelor of arts degree in Anthropology. Her post graduate plans
include continuing to train as a show skater and applying for the international
branch of Disney on Ice. She competed with the university figure skating team
for two years before accepting a position on CU’s DI track and field sprint
team. Beginning her skating career at age 7, she has competed in numerous
national competitions and performed professionally for Shipstad Entertainment.
She has 15 years of skating experience at which time she passed her senior
moves, junior freestyle, and silver dance United States Figure Skating
Association tests. Coaching for 6 years, she has spent 5 seasons teaching at
the Ice Rink at Boulder
One Plaza.
She enjoys working with students of all ages and aims to instill a love for
skating in each of her students.
